Christmas at the Fireshouse

Dennis was able to trade with a good friend of ours so that he could be home on Christmas Eve for my family's festivities, and then work Christmas Day so his friend could be with his family. So Ty & I came to visit. Ty had just fallen asleep on the way up, and surprisingly stayed asleep when we got there even after seeing the firetrucks.

Dennis got a run while we were there. Ty was excited to run up to Dennis as soon as he got back in the firetruck. It's always so exciting for me to watch him rush off to a scene. He's such a hero.

"Ok, I gotta check this thing out."

This time, Dennis was at the firehouse where they keep their rescue boats. Ty enjoyed playing in it.

Christmas with Ty

We're all set up and ready!
Ty went to his grandparents so we could have time to get things put together.

Here's his Big Boy bed! We moved the crib into the new nursery and set his bed up for when he comes home.

He's home! And so excited to see his new chair :)

He LOVES Dora & Diego right now.

Dennis & Ty have been making lots of forts with blankets lately. So we decided to get him a tent for Christmas.

Markers! Washable, of course. Thanks to Mrs Rosario and Miss Tori, Ty has become very good at holding writing utensils the correct way. It's amazing to watch him learn.

And for the big finale, we took him to his room to see his new bed. He was so excited to be able to get up and down all by himself.

We had a great time. It was so much fun this year and I'm sure will be more and more exciting in years to come.

After our fun-filled afternoon at home, we went to my parent's house for the Dillman's Christmas :)

Turkey Day!

Thanksgiving was WONDERFUL. We enjoyed time at my mom & dad's house.
I surprisingly didn't take very many pictures. Guess I'd have to put the food down to do that, huh!? LOL
Ty got to sit at the big kid table this year.
(he's saying "Cheeeese!")

After all the great food and fun, Ty finally crawled up in Grandma's arms and passed out.

Computer Genius

Well...maybe not, but he's learning. The fisher price website has a few toddler computer games that Ty likes to play.

Preschool Thanksgiving Feast

Today was Ty's Preschool Thanksgiving Feast.
Each child had these adorable t-shirts and hats they had made.

This is my beautiful friend Jennifer and Ty's best friend Campbell ("Mamble" as Ty would say).

And these are Ty's wonderful Teachers! We are so thankful for them :)
