Christmas at the Fireshouse

Dennis was able to trade with a good friend of ours so that he could be home on Christmas Eve for my family's festivities, and then work Christmas Day so his friend could be with his family. So Ty & I came to visit. Ty had just fallen asleep on the way up, and surprisingly stayed asleep when we got there even after seeing the firetrucks.
So precious.
I love baby feet.

Dennis got a run while we were there. Ty was excited to run up to Dennis as soon as he got back in the firetruck. It's always so exciting for me to watch him rush off to a scene. He's such a hero.
"Ok, I gotta check this thing out."

Dennis showing him around.
"Oooo, a flashlight."
This time, Dennis was at the firehouse where they keep their rescue boats. Ty enjoyed playing in it.

Gotta check out everything.

How many kids can say they grew up playing cars with their daddy in a firehouse bay?

This post just melted my heart! What a sweet beautiful family you have. Your husband is a hero and I thank God all the time for men like him who risk their lives everyday. I love how Ty looks at him with such pride in his eyes like, "that's my daddy!"
